Project Overview

I photographed cars in near-darkness, using only minimal, carefully placed light to sculpt the form rather than fully reveal it. Instead of lighting the entire vehicle, I let shadows do most of the work—highlighting edges, curves, and key details while allowing large areas to fall into black.

Small, controlled light sources were positioned at low angles to create sharp reflections along the bodywork, emphasizing texture, paint depth, and design lines. The result is a cinematic, high-contrast look where the car feels dramatic, precise, and intentional—defined as much by what’s hidden as by what’s shown.
